Is this a good cover?
The cover of this mattress features a pillow top that adds a more premium character and increases comfort. It’s made of a breathable material that allows airflow and helps the mattress to breathe better. Additionally, it can regulate heat very efficiently which is extremely helpful during the summer months. The design is a contemporary one and it features a white colourway with dark grey details.
The cover is removable and if you need to clean it, you can use your washing machine. Make sure you choose a gentle cycle and a mild detergent. The only downside here is the lack of moving handles which are much needed as this is a heavy mattress. Overall, this is a high-quality cover that is a great compliment to the Spring mattress.
Is this a firm mattress?
The short answer is yes. However, I would like to talk about this in detail since I am not done writing this Valmori Spring mattress review. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 7.5 with 10 being really firm.
If you prefer mattresses with a firmer feel, this is an option that you should definitely consider. It’s ideal for those who have a bad back or they need better spinal support. Moreover, its firmer feel makes it a great match for stomach sleepers but also back sleepers. In my opinion, if you are a side sleeper, you should probably look at the Valmori Latex mattress. The 7-zone system works great and the Spring mattress can provide your body with balanced support. Moreover, this mattress features excellent edge support so you will get in and out of bed with ease. If you share your bed with a partner, this can be a good option as it’s designed to minimise motion transfer. Overall, the Valmori Spring mattress is a well-balanced one and it will mainly suit front and back sleepers.
Will I pay for delivery?
Every Valmori mattress comes with free delivery which is available for all postcodes nationwide. According to them, delivery can take up to 10 business days but that’s of course for really remote areas. If you live in Sydney, you are eligible for next-day delivery and for the rest of the Metro areas, you should expect your mattress within 3-4 working days. The people at Valmori use their own logistic partners so you should expect great service. Overall, it’s great they deliver their mattresses for free and this is something that Aussies shouldn’t take for granted.
Does this mattress come with a trial period?
If you don’t feel very comfortable buying a mattress online, I have some good news for you. The Valmori Spring mattress comes with a 100-night trial period that gives you enough time to try this mattress and decide later whether you want to keep it or not. If you are not happy with your purchase, Valmori gives you the option to return this mattress and get your money back. Returns are free and you don’t have to keep the original packaging to be able to do one.
Moreover, every Valmori mattress comes with a 15-year warranty and that is impressive. This is definitely one of the longest policies I have seen and it shows they are very confident in their products. Overall, this is a good support package here so no complaints from my side.
How expensive is this mattress?
This mattress is available in only 2 sizes so you have limited options to choose from. The smaller size (Queen) will cost you $1,250 while the bigger (King) is selling for $1,350. However, Valmori is a brand that runs frequent promotions so you will most likely pay less than that. For example, at the moment of writing a Queen mattress would only cost you $950!
