Does it come with a good cover?
The cover of this mattress is made of a blend that combines cooling yarn with polyester. This is a great choice and according to the maker it feels up to 80% cooler to the touch when compared to standard sleeping surfaces. As expected, this is a breathable fabric that allows airflow. The top part of the cover is removable and machine-washable so it’s quite easy to maintain. On the sides, you will find 4 handles that will help you move this mattress.
The design is quite boring and I was expecting something better from the people at Ecosa. Of course, we rarely see mattresses without sheets so this is not a big problem. During my time with it, I felt that the sleeping surface was cool but I will have to wait till summer to see if it makes a difference. Overall, this is a good-quality cover that has some interesting features.
Is this a firm mattress?
It’s time to continue with this Ecosa CoolComfort mattress review and talk about its feel. Just like most boxed mattresses, this is another medium-firm option that will suit most sleepers. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 6.5 with 10 being really firm. I want to talk now about my experience with it during the past week.
Lying on my back, the mattress distributed my weight evenly and that made me feel quite comfortable. Support was great and there were no pressure points on my back or hips.
Turning to the side position, the pocket springs adapted quickly and that helped my spine to align correctly. There was no pain on my hips or shoulders and it was comfortable sleeping this way.
Finally, moving to the stomach position, the mattress did a good job supporting my hips and shoulders. I was surprised that it worked well in this position but I can definitely say that this is a true all-rounder.
Another strength of this mattress is its edge support. This is expected thanks to the higher-gauge springs. Moreover, if you are a couple, this mattress has some motion transfer but nothing that will bother you too much.
Does it sleep cool?
This mattress is specifically designed to sleep cool and it has all the elements to achieve that. The core features open-pore foam layers combined with tall pocket springs that allow airflow. The FlexMatrix grid also does a great job and helps the mattress breathe better. Finally, the cover is exceptional and it features the latest technology that gives you an instant cooling feeling.
Will I pay for delivery?
If you decide to buy an Ecosa mattress, you will get a free delivery service that is quite fast. Most specifically, if you live in a metro area, you will receive your mattress within a day provided you place your order before 11:59 pm on weekdays. During checkout, you can choose a 4-hour time slot that best suits your schedule. This is super handy and I love that they offer that here. For non-metro areas, the delivery time can be anywhere between 1-7 working days. I also have to mention here that for some regional areas, there will be a flat fee of $175 due to higher transportation costs.
I am based in Sydney and I got my mattress within 2 days. The box came in excellent condition and the courier was helpful. Bear in mind that this is a heavy mattress so definitely ask for help before you move it. Overall, I was happy with the service they offered me so no complaints at all.
How long is the warranty?

How expensive is this mattress?
One of the things that I didn’t like about this mattress is the fact it’s available in only 3 sizes. The smaller one (Double) sells for $1,700 with the bigger one (King) going for $2,200.
