For this reason, this is a medium-firm mattress and if I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 6.5 with 10 being really firm. I want to talk now about my experience with it for the past week.

Lying on my back, the mattress distributed my weight evenly and that took the pressure away from my joints. Support was excellent and I was comfortable sleeping this way.

Turning to the side position, the spring layers adjusted quickly which helped my spine to align correctly. There was no discomfort in my hip and shoulder areas and I was well supported.
