After hearing about it, I was really keen to try this out so I went and order one. My protector was delivered almost 10 days ago so it’s time now to move to the full review below.

The Ergoflex protector is made of super-thin Tencel material which is very similar to the one they use to make their mattresses. They say that that is the only mattress protector you should use if you own the Ergoflex mattress. In general, Tencel is a fantastic material that has many advantages compared to polyester. The most important is the fact that it’s hypo-allergenic but also very breathable. The protector feels soft but it’s a relatively thin material that doesn’t feel very strong. It’s fully waterproof and you can machine wash it at 60°. It will fit any mattress that is up to 25cm deep so you won’t have an issue unless you have a really thick one. Overall, I loved the fact they used Tencel but I hope it will prove to be durable and will last for long.

Trial period & Delivery

The Ergoflex mattress protector comes with free delivery for all sizes. Of course, this is for mainland Australia only. If you live in some other areas then you might need to pay a delivery fee. Depending on where you live, it might take 3-7 working days for your package to arrive. I received good communication via email and text and the courier was polite. Unfortunately, due to hygienic reasons, you cannot return it once you open it and there is no trial period available. This makes sense and it’s totally understandable. Finally, you will also get a 2-year warranty against defects of workmanship or materials. Overall, I think that Ergoflex does a good job here.
